Research Interests :

Avian Community Ecology, Landscape Ecology, Fire Ecology, Forest Dynamics

Research Statement :

Stay Tuned.

Current Researh :

My dissertation research is focused on the effects of high severity fire and postfire management on bird and small mammal communities. In particular, how the composition of these communities changes over time and with varying disturbance histories (repeated fires, postfire management, etc). I am particularly interested in trying to examine longer time scales to better understand the patterns community change relative to the legacy of high severity fire.
